THINK ACT CHANGE LUNCHTIME CHAT - 11/18
PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL WHEN CHECKING OUT SO THAT YOU MAY USE YOUR RECEIPT AS A TICKET AT THE DOOR.
The "Center for Remembering and Sharing" invites you to participate in a lunchtime conversation with Weather Underground activist, author and educator Bill Ayers, live and in person, activist / poet Mitchel Cohen, and "Right to the City" director Rachel Laforest.
Join us for a freewheelin' chat with Bill Ayers (activist/author/educator and co-founder of the Weather Underground) and Mitchel Cohen (writer, activist, poet, former chair WBAI-FM Local Board).
Grab a cup of joe downstairs at Think Coffee or bring a brown bag lunch if you like, and have your questions ready: each has a new book out and a lot to say about what you can do to help save WBAI Free Speech Radio and make the world a better place!
They'll be discussing Mitchel's and Bill's new books and what do we mean by radical consciousness, direct action, and their relevance for organizing today.
The doors will open at 1:15 pm and the chat will begin at 1:30ish.
This is a co-presentation of Think Act Change NYC meetup.
